Calling all young photographers!
Grab your camera and put your skills to the test in our “Safe Start” photography competition.
We'd like you to send in your photos on the themes listed below. Please interpret the brief as widely as you can - don't just think of the obvious. Remember we are looking for compelling photos that will grab our attention. You can enter up to six pictures for each theme.
Categories and themes
The competition is open to all Tinerii resident in the EU under the age of 19 on 1 October 2006.
There are three themes of our competition:
The workplace

Voting
Following the closing date, the best pictures in each theme will be selected by our picture editor and displayed in a picture gallery on the EW2006 website. Our expert Jury will be asked to vote for their favourites. The two photos that get the most votes in each theme will be awarded the title of “Safe Start - European Young Photographer of the Year”.
